Trying Nomiku Sous Vide - Unboxing & Product Review

Watch my Nomiku Unboxing Video
Ever since I was young and watched Food Network, I loved seeing elite chefs using sous vide cooking appliances to make meat and fish perfectly tender.  Nomiku, a San Francisco based company let me try out their Sous Vide Classic Nomiku.  It's an immersion circulator that controls water temperature and circulates water in your own pots. Such a clever idea to allow using sous-vide in your own stock pots instead of having to have a traditional sous vide appliance that could take up huge amounts of kitchen counter space.
I was so excited to play with Nomiku and try out the sous vide on my Taiwanese Soy Sauce Eggs recipe. Overall I was impressed at how simple and easy to use the Classic Nomiku was.  It was so simple I could probably teach my Grandparents how to use it (BTW -they don't speak or read English).  It also felt well made.  Watch my unboxing video for all the fun details where I open and walk through how to use the sous-vide.  If you've tried sous vide before, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
GIVEAWAY ALERT:  I'm also hosting a YouTube subscriber giveaway.  Check out my unboxing video for more details on how you can enter for a chance to win your own Nomiku.  (Giveaway ends June 1st, 2015)

Interested in owning a Nomiku sous-vide?   Check out www.Nomiku.com for more information.  Added bonus:  They gave me a coupon code for my viewers (it's $100 off).  Code:  ANGELNOM

I have a friend who has used this method. I'd love to try a marinated pork tenderloin and even chicken to make chicken salad. It would be interesting to experiment with a ribeye or salmon.

I haven't tried a marinated pork tenderloin yet, but hoping to soon. It's been really fun trying sous vide on recipes you would traditionally make in the oven/over the stove.
