Today I wanted to share some of my favorite fashion finds. I love pastel colors because they remind me of spring - plus my kitchen tile backsplash has an array of happy green colors. :) This year though, I've been noticing more pastel greens to be the newest color trend, so when I saw this bright green dress at Nordstrom, I immediately fell in love with it. It's a dress by Frenchi in a color called Green Placid. |
You'll see me wearing this in my Taiwanese Pineapple Cake (tart) video tutorial, where I've paired it with a simple white 3/4 sleeve cardigan. In addition to being really comfortable to wear, it also has a sweet scalloped hem.
For casual fun makeup, I've been pairing it with my new favorite spring eyeliner from Lancome's Limited Edition French Innocence collection, which matches the color of the dress. I don't normally buy bright colored eyeliners, but the displays at the make-up counters were just so pretty. I bought both the green watercolor eyeliner + the beautiful eyeshadow palette. It comes in such a cute case too (Paris and pink flowers). A bit of a splurge, but I'm really happy with both. Worth a look if you're into this color. Since I'm not a beauty guru, you can check out the photos on Nordstroms' website here (the model looks much better than me anyways) :P Update: I think the eyeshadow palette is now sold out online, but you might be able to find it in stores.
