 Making Pineapple Cakes in this springtime dress | Today I wanted to share some of my favorite fashion finds. I love pastel colors because they remind me of spring - plus my kitchen tile backsplash has an array of happy green colors. :) This year though, I've been noticing more pastel greens to be the newest color trend, so when I saw this bright green dress at Nordstrom, I immediately fell in love with it. It's a dress by Frenchi in a color called Green Placid. |
You'll see me wearing this in my Taiwanese Pineapple Cake (tart) video tutorial, where I've paired it with a simple white 3/4 sleeve cardigan. In addition to being really comfortable to wear, it also has a sweet scalloped hem.
| For casual fun makeup, I've been pairing it with my new favorite spring eyeliner from Lancome's Limited Edition French Innocence collection, which matches the color of the dress. I don't normally buy bright colored eyeliners, but the displays at the make-up counters were just so pretty. I bought both the green watercolor eyeliner + the beautiful eyeshadow palette. It comes in such a cute case too (Paris and pink flowers). A bit of a splurge, but I'm really happy with both. Worth a look if you're into this color.
