Last month, I was invited to join Vessel and share my new videos with Vessel subscribers and users first during 'Early Access'. For those of you who aren't already familiar with them, Vessel launched in early 2015 as a Premium short form video provider.
Similar to YouTube where you can watch videos for free, Vessel also has an Early Access subscription service. This is where you can get early video viewing access (24 hours - 1 week earlier) to your favorite YouTubers (think Ingrid Nilsen - yes, I'm a fan!) and other online shows for only $2.99/month.
What does this mean?

Being an Early access subscriber means you can watch my videos 1 week in advance before I publish them through YouTube. So, you might be asking yourself: Why Angel, why?
Two reasons:
1. I like Vessel because they are selective in who they allow to host shows, which means you'll typically see higher quality content and better videos. While they are relatively small in comparison to the amount of videos you can find on YouTube, you won't need to filter out the millions of cat videos out there to find mine. (BTW - I love cats and furry pets.)

2. If you watch my videos through Vessel, it helps support me as a creator through the advertising revenue and subscriber watch time, which helps me purchase things like camera equipment, supplies, and of course ingredients for cooking! All of which are super expensive and I'm starting to realize, adds up :(
If you don't want to subscribe to Vessel, that's okay too (I'll still love you). I'll continue to post my videos to YouTube a week later for FREE viewing. |
