PictureDIY Healthy Ramen Kits - To Go (YouTube video)
Are you a Ramen Lover who enjoys eating instant noodles?

I have to admit, I love the convenience of instant noodles - they are quick, inexpensive and for the most part, tasty.  Now you can make your own healthy version in this DYI Ramen to-go kit (without the instant noodles and the not so healthy flavoring spice packs).

Everything you need to make healthy instant noodles are in these glass jars!  You pick the add-in ingredients, but I like to include fresh tofu, some broccoli, and as always a soy sauce egg.  In my video, I'll show you how to make Ramen Kits using 2 different soup bases:  Miso and Chicken broth.

Miso Ramen Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. of Shiro (white) Miso Paste
  • ramen noodles
  • tofu
  • soy sauce egg (link to this recipe)
  • green onions
  • ichimi togarashi (crushed red pepper)
  • 2 cups of hot water

Chicken Ramen Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 tsp. of chicken bouillon
  • ramen noodles
  • tofu
  • soy sauce egg (link to this recipe)
  • green onions
  • Broccoli
  • shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 cups of hot water

The Glass Jars I used in this video:
- 32 oz. (1 quart) wide mouth glass jars (cookie jars) from The Container Store
