Green Tea (Matcha) Ice Cream Recipe | 3 Ingredients!
Matcha is one of my favorite ice cream flavors. I'll pick matcha (aka green tea ice cream) over plain vanilla or chocolate any day of the week. Made with real matcha powder and organic cane sugar, this ice cream recipe is just the right amount of bittersweet goodness.
In my video, I'm using half & half for my ice cream base, but if you want to make this a vegan ice cream, just substitute it with full fat coconut milk. (I did this in my no-churn Red Bean Ice Cream Parfait Recipe.) I also recommend making your ice cream a la mode by topping it with mochi, chocolate sprinkles, and of course a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
TIP: For best ice cream texture and flavor, try to consume the ice cream after churning it in your ice cream maker. If you're storing it in the freezer for later, let it defrost for 5 minutes on the counter before scooping.
