•  Taiwanese Cabbage Salad | Easy Asian Salad Dressing

Picture

Picture

Asian Salad Dressing is easy to make with this simple 2 Ingredient Recipe.  In addition to being an easy dressing, this recipe pairs well with raw Taiwanese Cabbage for a delicious salad.  The Taiwanese Cabbage itself has a nice firm and crisp texture, while the flavors of the sweet corn, savory garlic salt, and sesame oil ensures a satisfying salad.

Another bonus to this salad, is that unlike romaine, or other types of leafy greens, Taiwanese cabbage stores in the fridge for a longer time in comparison.  This makes it a great vegetable to keep on hand for a last minute salad, or a Taiwanese cabbage stir fry later in the week.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4  Taiwanese Cabbage
  • 3 - 5 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • garlic salt (to taste)
  • whole kernel corn
  • english cucumber
  • green onions

Ready in Total Time:  10 min.

Prep Time =   10 min.
Cook Time =  none!

Preparation:

For the full preparation method and instructions, watch the YouTube video tutorial here.

  1. Cut and hand tear the Taiwanese cabbage.  Then wash and dry the leaves.
  2. Add the cabbage, corn, green onions, and English cucumber into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add Sesame oil and Garlic Salt to taste, then toss well.
  4. Place the bowl in the fridge for 10 minutes before serving (optional).  Putting the bowl in the fridge keeps the salad cold when serving (which will make it taste better).
