Hot Kumquat Fruit Tea is the perfect balance of tart sweetness as the flavors of kumquats and key limes make this drink so unique. I first came across this drink in Taiwan where it's a popular fresh fruit drink served in Taiwanese tea shops. Some shops brew this with black tea, however I prefer to mix mine with hot water as an after dinner caffeine-free treat.
I love making this drink concentrate in big batches since it keeps for a few months in the refrigerator, but most of the time, I end up using it up in just a few short weeks. Enjoy!
