  • Coffee Jelly 2 Ways | Coffee Jelly Dessert & for Bubble Tea

Picture

Picture

Coffee Jelly is a unique but simple Asian dessert.

I love eating coffee jelly served with either whipped cream or evaporated milk, but I also enjoy having coffee jelly as an alternative to boba pearls in my Milk Tea drinks.

In this video, I'll show you how to use Starbucks VIA instant coffee packets in this 2 way recipe.  I do recommend getting decaf as the regular caffeinated ones can keep you up all night.  (Yes, this is from personal experience)

Tip:  I'm using silicone ice cube trays called perfect cubes as my moulds.  This produces nice square cubes for me to cut & I love the pink colored trays!  (they have other colors too if pink isn't your thing)  The trays also come in handy when I want to freeze spices or chicken stock in cubes.  ; )

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets Starbucks VIA instant coffee
  • 2 cups of boiling water
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 packets gelatin

Ready in Total Time:  3 hr. 10 min.
