Black Sesame Ice Cream Recipe | with Mini Mochi bits
Black Sesame Ice Cream is a unique but delicious Asian Ice cream flavor. This recipe is made without eggs and only a few simple ingredients below.
The great thing about this flavor, is that it's healthy and good for you too. There's a lot of vitamins and nutrients in black sesame. Watch my video tutorial to find out more and maybe you'll be interested in making some guilt-free ice cream. (hint: it's good for your hair)
Tip: The Ice Cream maker I used in this video is actually a cold Ice Cream plate. Check out my video product review of the Chef'n Sweet Spot Ice Cream Maker for more info.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of Black Sesame Powder
1 cup of Half & Half
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 pinches of Salt
3 tablespoons of Cane Sugar
Mini Mochi bits**
**I got my mini mochi bits at my local Asian grocery store. The above is a link to where you can find a photo of them through Amazon. (unfortunately they only sell these in large packs of 24 online, and who needs 24 packs of mochi anyways?!)
