Beef & Broccoli while a common Chinese take-out dish, not all beef & broccoli recipes are made equal. A homemade beef & broccoli dish done well is leaps and bounds better than your standard take out or restruaunt fare entree. In my recipe I'm using a premium New York Strip steak sliced thin, then marinated in corn starch to give it that tender and velvety texture. Once you try my Beef & Broccoli recipe, you'll never look at take-out in the same way again. Served with a bowl of hot white rice, and you'll have yourself a satisifing weeknight dinner in under 30- 45 minutes.
Tip: While broccoli is typically used, I prefer using broccolini here. The stalks are slender and the florets are smaller and more tender compared to traditional broccoli.

Preparation:
For the full preparation method and instructions, watch the YouTube video tutorial here.
Start by slicing the beef into thin strips.
In a medium sized bowl, add the beef slices and start your marinade with the corn starch. Set that aside to marinate for 10- 15 minutes while we prepare the other ingredients.
Clean and cut your broccoli or broccolini. I like to have 2-3 inch pieces of broccolini.
Stir-fry your broccolini first, then remove and set aside.
In the same pan, stir-fry your beef. Once you've browned the beef, and before it's almost done, add the broccolini and the sauce mixture.
Stir-fry for a minute until all the ingredients are well combined.
Finishing the dish off with green onions and sesame seeds adds a nice touch.
